Carbohydrates
Science
ImageCarbohydrates, historically known as carbohydrates, are a class of molecules in organic chemistry. Their formula is based on the model C n (H 2 O) p (hence the title history). However, this model does not apply to all carbohydrates, which are made for some atoms of nitrogen and phosphorus (for example).
They are a part, with the proteins and lipids, essential constituents of living beings and their nutrition, because they are a key biological intermediate storage and consumption of energy. Among the agencies autotrophs, such as plants, sugars are converted into starch for storage. In heterotrophic organisms, like animals, they are used as a source of energy in metabolic reactions, oxidation during digestion of carbohydrates providing about 17 kJ / g depending on the study in the bomb calorimeter.

Cell Biology
Science
ImageCellular biology or cytology, is a discipline of biology studying the cells and organelles, the life processes that take place as well as mechanisms for their survival (reproduction, metabolism, homeostasis, néguentropie, communication) as well as the characteristic Main living cells, namely, death, which may be genetically programmed (apoptosis) or be the result of aggression (necrosis).
The histology is in turn the study of cells at a higher level, ie fixtures in their tissues and their interactions (tight junctions, anchoring, communications, etc.)..
The study of how the cell is outside the field of cell biology. It is a separate cell physiology.

Bioinformatics
Science
ImageThe Bioinformatics is a field of multi-disciplinary research where work together biologists, computer scientists, mathematicians and physicists in order to solve a scientific problem posed by biology. The term bioinformatics is also described (by abuse of language) all applications resulting from this research This is the analysis of the genome to the modeling of the evolution of an animal population in a given environment, through molecular modeling, the image analysis, the sequencing of the genome and the reconstruction of phylogenetic trees (phylogeny). This discipline is the biology in silico, "by analogy with in vitro or in vivo.

What is a Satellite Dish?
Science
ImageA satellite dish is a parabolic antenna used to pick up and send out electromagnetic signals, typically relayed by communication satellites orbiting around the earth. It can be used for data, radio, or television. They come in various sizes and designs. They are also commonly used to receive satellite television.
A satellite dish captures satellite television signals that reach a viewer's house. A standard dish consists of a bowl-shaped surface and a central feed horn. A feed horn is an antenna used to channel signals between the transceiver and the reflector. It also filters unwanted signals from adjacent channels and other nearby communication satellites by selecting the property of waves to be received.
A transmitting satellite dish sends a signal through the horn while the dish focuses the signal into a narrow beam. A receiving satellite dish, on the other hand, gathers the signal and focuses it inward towards the feed horn and into the controller.

How does Television work !
Science

Most people spend hours each day watching programming on their TV set, however, many people might wonder how in fact television works. There are many parts to this process and many technologies that are involved. Following are the most important processes and technologies involved in making television work.Main Elements of the TV Process :
There are many major elements that are required in order for TV to work. They usually include a video source, an audio source, a transmitter, a receiver, a display device, and a sound device.
Video Source .
The video source is the image or program. It can be a TV show, news program, live feed or movie. Usually the video source has already been recorded by a camera.

What is HDTV?
Science
ImageHDTV stands for High Definition TV and while the FCC does not have a standard definition for HDTV, it is widely agreed upon that HDTV is defined as having higher quality video, audio, image and a wider aspect ratio than standard television broadcast signals. HDTV is part of a larger set of standards called ATSC. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has mandated that all licensed television stations be capable of broadcasting DTV by 2007. To understand how much higher the quality HDTV is, you need to know the quality of standard TV. In the U.S., a standard TV has 525 lines scanned for each image. An image is refreshed every 30th of a second, however only half the image is refreshed every 30th of a second, so a full image is refreshed every 60th of a second. This refreshing format of an image is called interlaced. Progressive is when an image is refreshed in its entirety every 30th of a second. Out of the 525 lines of resolution that are scanned, only 480 lines are visible on the TV. Standard TV is also known as 480i (480 lines of usable resolution, interlaced).
