Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

The term 'corporate social responsibility "from the
European Commission. In the European acceptance, the term "social" is translated
from English and must, in french, rather closer to the term "social" which
includes the environmental dimension. indeed, according to the Commission, the
concept of CSR essentially means that companies, on their own initiative, help
to improve society and protect the environment, in conjunction with
stakeholders. CSR is the declination of sustainable development principles
throughout the company.
More and more companies recognize their social and environmental
responsibility.
a) at the international level:
the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), which defines indicators for
reporting non-financial activities
the OECD, which promotes guidelines for multinational enterprises,
b) at Community level:
European Multi-Stakeholder Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility held
in October 2002 to June 2004.He submitted a report to the Commission containing
an analysis of brakes and favourable factors affecting the development of CSR
and recommendations. the launch on March 22, 2006, the European Alliance for

New regulations for internships in business
|

Business

Under pressure from collective-Generation Précaire
and many associations, March 31, 2006 was voted the law on equal opportunities.
It provided for in Article L. 331-5 set by decree the minimum duration of the
internship company and the amount of "reward" given to trainees. This
gratification, financial, should not be in the nature of a salary within the
meaning of Article L. 140-2 of the Labour Code. Good intentions not followed up,
the famous decree did not see the day ...
The attention of Mr. Minister of labour, social relations, family and
solidarity has been drawn to the issue of rewards for trainees and measures for
securing internships in companies that students are required to perform during
their studies .The Government, aware of abuse surrounding internships, since
2006 began a process of moral internships and to regulate the practice.
Thus, the law of 31 March 2006 for equal opportunities has led to a
clarification of the relationship between the intern and the company.
It has several important steps such as:
The mandatory nature of the convention stage,
The establishment of a convention-type set by decree,
A ban on using the stage in situations falling labour illegal.
In addition, a charter internships, with the aim of ethical practices
appeal to internships in companies and clarify the framework which should
benefit any student during his probationary period, was developed from a common
reflection the ministries of labour and higher education.

Panorama Tools for building an enterprise weblog
The blog, contraction of Web log, would it be the last gadget in vogue in
the business? For over a year now, especially across the Atlantic, is described
with a certain enthusiasm these tools to improve the flow of information between
employees. In fact what is it? From table to display the high-tech company? In a
real way to formalize knowledge and know-how? Difficult to answer precisely
because with the blog can obviously do everything.
Indeed, this is neither more nor less than the possibility of putting
online easily a Web page. For those who love the precise definitions, I would
advise that the Office of Quebec's French language: "Web Page scalable and
non-conformist presenting all kinds of information, usually in the form of short
texts updated regularly, and whose content and shape, very free, remain at the
sole discretion of the authors ". It remains to be determined later said the
content, so-called shape-and especially its use ...

The biggest challenge for an employee
|
|
Business
|
|
Start with a very academic definition that comes
from Professor Andrew McAfee: "The company 2.0 corresponds to the use of
emerging social platforms within companies or between companies, their partners
and customers." A definition that has the merit of being short, but not shorter
than Indus Khaitan: "Enterprise 2.0 = Writable Intranet." If you want something
longer, I recommend this article: Enterprise 2.0, The Big Picture.
We can complete this definition with the acronym SLATES which lists the
essential components of collaboration: Search, Links, Authoring, Tags,
Extensions and Signals.
We can also include the concepts of Enterprise Social Software and its 7
founding principles.
There is also this slideshow (Meet Charlie), which is interesting but is
content to fly over the matter.
Finally, I suggest this small selection of articles to enrich your
favorites:
The Trends Underlying Enterprise 2.0;
A Web 2.0 Tour for the Enterprise;
An Introduction to Enterprise 2.0;
My definition of enterprise 2.0;
he company 2.0 or transfer to the work;
Business 2.0: agitators to follow;
Business 2.0: myths and realities….
Now that you have at your disposal a first substantive documentary, it is
time to simplify it and ask a few basic concepts.
That's all (although not quite) except a question of technology . Like the
revolution of Web 2.0 is not based on technological innovations (but is
nonetheless indirectly related), the Enterprise 2.0 includes a number of new
practices of collaboration that do not require adjustment in your information
system.
Correction: who does not require a priori planning. Because so it is very
easy to graft a blog or wiki to an intranet, both real benefits of Enterprise
2.0 will only be felt after having deployed a new software architecture of your
SI. Understand hence there will be no revolution in methods and tools work
without revolution. Indeed this is not a coincidence that in its first
definition Professor Andrew McAfee was referring to the service-oriented
architecture: Enterprise vs 2.0. SOA.
